IT'S A BOY!!!!

Hi Everyone! Well here is why we went private with our blog...
We had enquired about a specific waiting child a few months ago and we waited for I think about two months just to hear if it was still possible to adopt him or if someone else had already adopted him. I will save you the boring details but we finally found out about two weeks ago that he had not been adopted yet and that his file was pulled for us! Now the Thai social worker will go through his paperwork and make sure that everything is in order on his end and present us to the board for the official "referral". Once that happens and we send in our letter of intent and acceptance the board is presented with it again and then we wait for our invitation to travel. We could be asked to travel anytime from during the holidays to shortly after the first of the year. I am planning on the holidays - Merry Christmas to all of us!!! The only thing we can't do yet is share his photo with everyone until we receive the "referral". As soon as we can though we will let you know. John and I have been getting the house together and trying to get rid of random things that we don't need anymore to make room for our little guy and trying to get his room ready for him. We were able to find a dresser on Craigslist that is absolutely perfect; it was already painted for a little boys room in light and dark blue. I hope you all are well and we will now be able to update this more regularly as things progress. We both love and miss you guys and hope that everyone is doing well!

Going Private

Hi Everyone! Well as John and I move through this whole crazy process we have decided to make our blog private. Since this is our first adoption and we are not sure of every detail of what is acceptable or not and we are learning as we go, we don't want anything we say or do jeopardize bringing our child home. We will keep this open for a few more days so that we can get in touch with everyone that we know checks this regularly.
